I had an amazing weekend. On Friday, I went for some "Black Friday" shopping with a cousin, we had a blast plus I got the chance to get some additions to my wardrobe and makeup collection. At night I went to have dinner with some friends, we had our own private "Thanksgiving Dinner".

Being Thankful

Thanksgiving Day is supposed to be a day where families get together along with a great meal and give thanks for what they have, for life itself. I love this holiday, not just because you meet up with your family and closest friends, but because this day means sharing love and creating new memories to remember. Twilight Leather

 I realized I haven’t done something big and nice with my hair for quite some time now. Sometimes we need special events or reasons to dress up very nice. Well today it was one of “those” days. I decided I was going to dress up with a nice hair and make up for the greatest reasons of all: for my niece’s christening and even more because I am now her godmother!

Chocolate + Fashion

When I was younger and not long ago I hated the kitchen and everything that had to do with cooking, except for baking. Lately I’ve been cooking and baking more often stuff that I really like, “googoling” and researching recipes online and buying cooking books. Yesterday for example I was baking chocolate chunk cookies, and let me tell you that I find it really calming when I prepare something with love and because I want to, it adds it that special something and you feel very good when you see the results.

These are some of the new additions to my wardrobe that I’m in love with.

After summer’s bold color blocking outfits and floral couture, it seems that the fall is going in a complete different direction; which means neutral. This season what is actually “in” are the nude colors, also the pink and white. A Few Things

I think that family and friends are important and essential for every individual. Having a friend and being with your family can help you grow in different aspects of life, plus is a great source of support. To keep healthy and good relations with them it’s important to spend time with them every once in a while, because it will keep you relationship strong. Today I could say that I had an amazing day just because I shared time with my friends and family.

Shoe Junkie

Lately I’ve been very “into” platforms, and since I was in the mall yesterday I went by Bakers (which is one of my favorite shoe stores!) and got two additions to my shoe collection. They are two platforms. I think that the shoes and the accessories can complement the outfit. So for me I never have enough pairs!

I hope every mom out there had a great day :) I got my mom a perfume as a gift, it was from JLo. We had a great day with my sister (who's soon-to-be-mommy) and in the afternoon we went to spend time with the rest of the family, it was a great day for all of us.
