Lately I’ve been hooked by sparkling nail polishes. I think that they can be used in so many ways, depending on the outfit that you’re wearing and the effect that you want to make. These nail polishes can be mixed with any color, and they will look just fabulous!

Twilight Leather

 I realized I haven’t done something big and nice with my hair for quite some time now. Sometimes we need special events or reasons to dress up very nice. Well today it was one of “those” days. I decided I was going to dress up with a nice hair and make up for the greatest reasons of all: for my niece’s christening and even more because I am now her godmother!

Chocolate + Fashion

When I was younger and not long ago I hated the kitchen and everything that had to do with cooking, except for baking. Lately I’ve been cooking and baking more often stuff that I really like, “googoling” and researching recipes online and buying cooking books. Yesterday for example I was baking chocolate chunk cookies, and let me tell you that I find it really calming when I prepare something with love and because I want to, it adds it that special something and you feel very good when you see the results.

These are some of the new additions to my wardrobe that I’m in love with.

Steamed Hips with Pasta Alfredo

Since yesterday’s weather was very cloudy and rainy, I realized it was a perfect occasion for a home cooked dinner. I decided to make steamed hips with carrots, onions and peppers sided by pasta alfredo with broccoli and bread toasts. This was my very first attempt at cooking this recipe and it turned out very good. There’s no better feeling than sharing a lovely evening with your family.

Fall Fashion Trends

After summer’s bold color blocking outfits and floral couture, it seems that the fall is going in a complete different direction; which means neutral. This season what is actually “in” are the nude colors, also the pink and white. Dark Chocolate Fudge Brownies

Baking is something that I enjoy doing since I was in high school. I think it’s fun how you can create so much by following the recipe and mixing the ingredients, or even editing the recipe and experiment by adding and/or removing other ingredients. Today I was feeling a little more like doing brownies, so I decided since it was a beautiful Sunday morning to bake dark chocolate fudge brownies! There’s nothing better than the feeling of accomplishment when you get the results you were expecting.

A Few Things

I think that family and friends are important and essential for every individual. Having a friend and being with your family can help you grow in different aspects of life, plus is a great source of support. To keep healthy and good relations with them it’s important to spend time with them every once in a while, because it will keep you relationship strong. Today I could say that I had an amazing day just because I shared time with my friends and family.

Classic but Sparkly Nails

I’ve always liked how you can combine your nails and toes with your outfit. You can create so much with nail polishes than you can imagine by just mixing colors. Today I’m decided I was going for something classic but sparkly.

Shoe Junkie

Lately I’ve been very “into” platforms, and since I was in the mall yesterday I went by Bakers (which is one of my favorite shoe stores!) and got two additions to my shoe collection. They are two platforms. I think that the shoes and the accessories can complement the outfit. So for me I never have enough pairs!
